What's meditation ?
Meditation is a way to listen to yourself.
Listen to yourself in the silence, in the unseen.
We find Love and Peace within and around ourselves.
For example Love. There are different types of love.
Let's talk about Love (love among all humans) that they call love agape in latin.
What's Love? Love (agape): is the love to oneself and the love to others. You have to Love yourself and love others. In other terms:
If what you are doing is a good thing for you and for others, then you don't have to worry. It's fine. Use your conscience to determine this balance.
But :
- If what you are doing is only good for you and not good for others, then it's egoistic, selfishness.
- And if what you are doing is only good for others and not good for you, then you don't love yourself. So, balance is necessary.
Note that, there's Peace if everyone cares about himself and about others. And there's conflicts if everyone cares only about himself and never about others.
Remember, we are all brothers and sisters and we belong to one family "humanity".
Now the Question is:
Is what I intend to do (my action) good for me and good for my neighbor (brother or sister, human being like me)?
If the answer is yes, then do it, fine. But, if the answer is no, then why do it?!
In both cases, there are consequences of our actions.
So, let's level up our conscience and think twice before every action. Meditation will help us to do so.
